"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness"

(1^Peter 2:24/a)

 

   Nobody has ever doubted this well-known verse by the apostle Peter.

   Everybody believes that the Bible, in this case, says the truth… Jesus really bore our sins on the cross… "all" our sins.

   In the second part of the verse Peter speaks about healing and says : " … by his wounds you have been healed " (1^ Peter 2:24/b) but this second part has not the same trust of the first one.

   But if the first part of the verse is true, we must believe then that the second part is true as well.

  If we admit that Jesus really bore our sins on the cross, it’s true then that by His wounds we have been healed.

  If Jesus cared of our sins, He also gave to us the possibility to receive healing in the exact moment of need.

  This doesn’t mean that all sick people must be suddenly healed but that it is God’s will that sick people are healed.

  God’s desire is that everybody is saved and the same God wants all sick people to be healed.

  Jesus REALLY bore your and my diseases.

  IF GOD DOESN’T WANT TO HEAL YOUR DISEASES, WHY DID HE BEAR AT YOUR PLACE ALL YOUR DISEASES ?

  If a sick person had faith in this point, God would give surely honour to His word and would send, in the time fixed by Him, the healing from heaven.

  A healness that was provided that day, at Golgotha.
